I think this book would be about the experiences of all mothers – you know the. Cases in which a mother becomes so exasperated that she is going to throw your hands in the air in frustration and says stupid things (for example, when the middle of a long car trip, the kids will say they are so thirsty that they will die without a drink now – and the mom says if you#39;re so thirsty, then swallow the spit!) You know, the type of thing that lets us know that we are not the only mom out there means. He was also hoping to learn how they are dealt with the frustrations of motherhood. The book is humorous. However, Laura Bennett (the author) is not your mother average. I did not realize she had participated in the television program Project Runway, nor I realized that I had an income above everyone on my block combined. She explains why they need to have a job – not because he needed the money (not) – but because I had to earn enough money to pay for a housekeeper, two nurses, a manny (male nanny) and therapy for their children – none of which I have needed it if he had stayed at home with them (but planned to stay at home with them would have driven her nuts). I can not imagine having to go to work just to pay someone to care for my children. I#39;m not trying to judge Ms . Bennett for his decision to do so, but definitely not my style. Thus, while this book had a lot of humor in it which made me laugh, it was how to book on parenting I had expected.
… She said in the epilogue that is an atheist! Yes I was a bit annoying as a couple of reviewers on Laura Bennett buzz about the difficulties of raising children with three nannies on board, but My main complaint is that apparently views her children as a burden rather than gifts of God that is what they really are. What would really be a fun book, was his collection of children in their God-less environment without she nannies! My beliefs are simple and widely agreed#39;m not sure, but I would warn anyone who is Christian and would feel uncomfortable reading a book written by an apparent self-proclaimed non Christians to seek adventure and humor in children aging in a different direction. If I had known of its alignment against God, I would have bought the book.
The old title will definitely give an idea of the colorful personalities in the house of Laura Bennett. If you remember her from Project Runway, which was one of the top four in the third season. She was pregnant with her sixth child in that time, and this book talks about the joys and adventures of motherhood with five boys and one girl, ranging from ages 2-20. I took it because I thought someone with six children would have a lot of advice to give. Despite that it is meant to be funny, and not taken seriously, I was still waiting for further instructions to take home. Apparently, Laura felt she had much to explain. She talks about how people take their pain have help. (Of course they#39;ll have help! Six children is a lot!) With a lot of children, is very helpful. There are at least two maids, a nanny and a manny. However, it did ask me why had so many children in the first place. She seems to be someone who sits at the side and watch their children says funny things. She makes fun of parents who give their children only organic food, but not allow them to jump into a trampoline because it is too dangerous, but she is at the opposite extreme of the spectrum. The children curse, call your babysitter sexy, play violent video games, and run wild for much of the time they are home. The book reads fast, and there are some good stories about Project Runway insiders who would not normally come to know. There are also some stories that their children is priceless addition to the book. I did not see his personality from his book in the series. Maybe I was too tense, charge someone of cheating, and not very funny. Therefore, it was nice to read this book and discover that there was a more tolerant side with her. At the end of the day, reading this was a great way to pass time and thank me because I have six children.
As a parent and not obsessive, glad I found this book very interesting to read. I do not agree with the author to leave-them-be the focus – in fact, while reading the book that is often asked: Does it really raise their children in this way or that just writing this to sell the book? the end, no matter.#39;s parenting described here is really open your eyes and makes me think so much in my parenting and my own need to maintain healthy obsessive surrounded by other parents like me. I think this is a very good book for all parents who wonder if they are doing too much to read.
Since becoming a father himself, I have really enjoyed humorous books parenting … and this is another on that growing list. There are some small tips, but mostly it#39;s more than stories about her and their children and how she is raising them. And it#39;s funny. And it is a quick and easy reading.
